Not a single month passes, where I do not come across this idea, which people think it is funny, that we Armenians are successful in sports on individual level but fail in sports where they play as a team because team work fails inside the Armenian character.

People laugh, I don’t, because I see a very serious problem within the Armenian character, I think this is not only true in sports, but it is a deep crisis within our nation.

I have never been in the army, but I think the concept of an efficient army will describe my ideas best, because Armies are one of the most sophisticated structures, because they carry a much extended diagram of hierarchies.

I do not make a brilliant invention, when I say that harmony is one of the most crucial keys to form an efficient army, where cooperation is smooth.

Let me extend by sharing my own knowledge of programming, the highest level of the code must create a very flexible hierarchy of low level codes, where they should cooperate smoothly and naturally, without the need for the highest level to interfere.

The same must be true for an army and in fact in any structure, the low level elements must be able to achieve a highest level of harmony, based on sincerity and respect, they must cooperate smoothly, without the need of the higher leadership to interfere, if the lower levels are unable to cooperate naturally, and they must constantly feel the need to resort to the highest level to settle the points they are unable to agree upon, this means that the slow and the workflow is becoming slow, inefficient, and might ultimately break and fall apart, of course, once or twice a year can be considered natural although not ideal, but a constant need to choose to take the issue upwards means that there are serious issues in the system.

But when appointed generals refuse to interfere, because they are busy, this created hell, and the collapse is inevitable, conflict might arise on the lower levels, unless one party chooses to be on the extraordinary level of awareness, and avoid confrontation to avoid conflict, this way it might seem that the issue is resolved, but never a solution, it only postpones.

Solution

There can be one of two solutions

Either the highest level sets a very clear guidelines that all parties must commit to, which is a working solution, but never ideal because this means a non-harmonious team which cooperates compelled and obliged, this might produce acceptable solutions, but never a victorious team of creative nature, the inspiration is gone

Or one of the parties, simply demonstrates a supernatural awareness, he declares that leadership sees him as a foot soldier, and acts as such, a soldier should not be expected to be watched by an eyeglass that sees in him a foot soldier, a soldier is what a general sees in him, if he is seen as a foot soldier, he must remain a foot soldier, and only carry out foot soldier duties, he must not walk away in bitterness, after all, he cannot counter what the general’s eyeglasses sees in him, if he is seen as a foot soldier, he must act as a foot soldier, nothing beyond, but this also means that a soldier is what he is, a foot soldier, and must not be asked to carry missions that a one soldier battalion commander carries out.

And that is the least bad solution among a series of bad solutions
