Dear Marianna Gevorgyan, you need no introduction, your fame and art need no introduction.

1 When did you decide to play the kanoon, at what age was it your first instrument?

I have attended different groups since I was a child at the public school. I hardly decide anything in my life, because whatever decision I plan doesn't work out, what happens is what the higher one decides. You never know what great life path your first steps can take. I studied and learned to play the kanoon instrument at school, but that still does not mean that you are a kanoon player. I have come a long way, I have had very interesting school and student years, one can say an intense concert journey. Music is not played and matured by the touch of everyone's finger, not everyone is given that gift and talent, it is true that many want to become a popular and famous musician, but it is for the chosen ones. A school and university pedagogue is a teacher, a student is a student, a student is a student, but the one who has already won the stage, presents and popularizes art with high professionalism is a real artist.

2 Have you tried other instruments, will you consider other musical instruments?

As a musician, I value every musical instrument very much, I also know the piano. I am especially interested in the national orchestras of different countries. I even tried to compare different foreign orchestras with our national orchestra rule.

3 I noticed a deep sense of patriotism in your motivations and patterns, patriotism is the leading motive behind your passion for playing music

I think patriotism should not be shouted with words, but should be voiced with actions. In my case, patriotism is probably the loudest, I am Armenian, my profession and my work are even more Armenian and Armenian. Everyone must hold fast to their roots so as not to lose their identity.

4 What would you like to address to the state, the music industry and the media, to contribute to the promotion of our national Armenian musical art and talents? I have noticed that you are someone who has exceeded the borders of the republic and reached the international level, I would be interested to tell you a little about your international activities.

Our national identity should always be the priority, we should not pay tribute to xenophobia, so as not to lose our national image. Being the winner of various international competitions and the winner of the main prize of the world competition, I am even more obliged to represent and promote my national team from high platforms. I myself have organized and implemented international music projects. The basis of the cooperation was the popularization of national music, the awareness of Armenians and Armenian culture to foreigners.

5 I am sure that the Armenian diaspora would like to attend your concerts, are there any plans to visit the Armenian diaspora in the near future?

We have many spectators from the diaspora; I think that they themselves prefer to come to Armenia in the recent period rather than making invitations.

6 What are your current and future plans?

I am an active musician, I am always on stage, the concert programs are many and different, they are implemented step by step in the form of concerts.
