Each Person who carried an Armenian National identity is automatically a citizen and national of the Republic of Armenia - Prime Minister Pashinyan

First of all, I would like to say, that even Pirates, used to abide by and respect the principle of “Parlay”

During “Parlay”, which means negotiations, the party which is under accusation or candidate for hostility, may negotiate and offer arguments in his defense, during that period, no one has the right to attack him in any way, he is under the protection of “Parlay”

That being said, It makes me sad to see our nation divided, to this extent, this si the situation both inside the mainland, (and when I say the mainland the republic, I also do mean Nagornoa Karabagh, Artsakh, because it is an inseparable part ot the republic) and the Armenian diaspora, lack of tolerance, resentment towards each other, rejecting to listen to one another, hear each other, is a situation that has reached its peak.

I think people fail to understand any message, because they fail to pay attention, focus, listen, analyze, try to understand, and this led to the triumph of the tactics of demagogue and manipulation, deception and eventually defeat

Անկախ Հայաստանը չէր կարող ոտքի կանգնել առանց Սփյուռքի՝ անգնահատելի և ամենօրյա աջակցության: Այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը` Լոս Անջելեսի Գրանդ Փարքում կայացած հանրահավաքի ժամանակ:

«Սփյուռքը կանգնել է Հայաստանի մեջքին, Սփյուռքը պահել է Հայաստանը, սնել է Հայաստանը:.. »,-ասաց նա:

I do agree with these words, I do agree with this statement, in fact I agree with a lot of statement the prime minister makes, but “hold on,” now many will say, “what you wanted us to believe and what we understood from a lot of your declarations, Bedros, is that you want us to rest assured you consider yourself a part of opposition to the prime minister”

True, a large part of what motivates me to criticize the prime minister is not related to the logic of his statement, of his declared intentions, it has to do with the practice, with the results, with the implementations, I consider that on basis of end results, he has not justified the things he promised, or at least inspired that he promises, he seemed to promise, if I want to try to take the path of orthodoxy of what was the case accurately, I would say, that during the “velvet revolution” that I participated in, an atmosphere was created that he is coming with a clear project and promises of ambitious goals he would achieve, and he did nothing to deny or clarify such an atmosphere, and that very same atmosphere paved the way to his popularity and the victory that the Civil contract realized back in the 2018 elections, that same atmosphere seemed to return to the scene during the 2021 elections, and in both occasions, almost nothing of those expectations and hopes were realized

Now, I can also consider that the statement that Mr. Pashinyan made, where he considered every Armenian automatically a citizen of Armenia, in implementation and practice, not adopted, but contradicted in actions

Why would I suggest that, why would I assume, that the steps taken while the civil contract party (The party of the prime minister) is leading the country, obviously, yes, I am referring to the controversial incident, where an Armenian from abroad, a leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnak party, was visiting the republic, the fatherland, the authorities’ prevented him from entering the country

As far as I understood, Mr. Papazian did not carry the Armenian citizenship, but if we follow the moral logic, by the prime minister, then he is morally a citizen of Armenia, and therefore, even though technically he is not a citizen and therefore technically and legally he may not be considered a citizen exported (Արտագսում) from his own country, morally he falls in the category of an exported citizen

Now If I cannot say this is in-precedent, because I for one have heard of at least two cases, Mr. Marukhyan the Leader of the ARF was banned during the leadership of President Levon Der-Bedrossian, and Mr. Schant Vosguerichian The spokesman of "Armenian Rebirth" organization in the diaspora: during the rule of President Serge Sarkssyan

I find the incident with Mr. Papazyan extremely disturbing, worrisome; I find the approach adopted by the current authorities a crucial mistake and an extremely unwise step

Now more people will argue, “Bedros, now you defend the Armenian Revolutionary Federation? You are so confused, you used to confuse us, now we just know you are always confused and change your orientations”

Now here lies the issue of our political thinking, this is why our political society is so often very easily manipulated, people refuse to accept the simple truths as what they just are: “simple truths”, our minds always seek conspiracies, are skeptic, they see opportunism and controversy in everything

Yes, it is true, yes politically I have been on the opposite pole with the Armenian Revolutionary federation since at least the year 1996, inside Lebanon and yes it is true that when I came to Armenia, I once again found myself on different and opposite sides with the Dashnak party, and people so often accused me of prejudice against this party, they accused me of being blindly Anti-Tashnak, I so often tried to explain that I do respect the social and national principles of the ARF, despite the fact that I am a firm supporter of the Social Democrat Hunchakian party (Never joined the hunchak party ranks, I am  merely a supporter), I always tried to maintain harmony and restraint, I was always accused of hypocrisy and maneuvers, games

But this does not mean that whenever I see injustice committed to any Armenian, regardless of our political differences to the extent of conflicting differences, I always insisted and keep insisting that our “battles” remain strictly politics and never get to personal level,

I have no Armenian political opponents and enemies; I have political forces, who I try to sometimes wage political battles, through expression only, through ideas,

There are also no ideological opposites for me, I am a leftist Democratic Socialist, and this never stopped me to establish the best relations with the Armenian National Movement, The National Democratic Axis, with no hesitation, prejudice or complex

The nation suffers lack of tolerance, we do not communicate, we see treason and hostility on the other side(s), and this is a deep crisis

Others would argue that Papazian orchestrated an attack against the cars of the prime minister when he visited France

If that is true, this is an act I condemn, I do not believe in violence and riot behaviors, but even so, we must bear in mind the following:

This should not lead to prevent an Armenian from visiting his fatherland, this is a huge mistake, and everyone should have the chance to defend himself, let him come to the republic, and let him face such charges, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise

Even Pirates, when the word “Parlay” was pronounced, the person under the protection of “Parlay” principle had the right to defend him-self, justify himself and his actions, only after the end of these negotiations, verdicts were passed

I stand in solidarity in this matter with Mr. Papazian, because I personally know the feeling, when your ideological family silently bans you, outcasts you, without being given the chance to justify yourself and defend your actions, explain yourself

What took place is very unfortunate, it might create a gap with our fellow Armenians in the diaspora, instead of creating an atmosphere of solidarity, unity, harmony, so many Armenians in the diaspora might start to wonder, will be welcomed in the republic, despite my political identity who is in contrast with the current rulers

The Velvet revolution promised us a “revolution of Love and harmony”, what kind of impression do we allow, we now call for regional “Love and harmony with the surrounding” of the republic, how come this Love does not provide space for fellow Armenians

I spoke with Mr. Shant Vosguerichian, he told me, he condemns this step by the rulers in Armenia, he said he knew how it felt to be banned from the fatherland due to lack of tolerance by the former authorities, and he now considers that the situation has not improved, he stands in solidarity with Mr. Papazian I this manner, even though he disagrees with Mr. Papazian politically

To conclude, I want to say, that I am talking about the principle, by principle, forbidding any Armenian from entering the republic is a moral, political, national and patriotic mistake, one that may only please the enemy, and there are no Armenian Enemies inside our great republic and nation of Armenia

May the Lord protect, safeguard and prosper the great republic of Armenia and the nation of the children of Hayk Nahabet
