Question

- It seems that moods are changing, especially in the capital Yerevan and nearby provinces (the correct option is in the regions), it did not change much in 2020, despite the Kremlin's policy in the 44-day ceasefire, but now it is noticeable that the fascination and reliance on Moscow. as the sole protector and seeing it as the exclusive provider of security is diminishing, do you think the national movement (Pole) is the main reason for this consciousness?

Answer:

- First of all, let's record that for 100 years, successive generations have been presented with a false history, the core of which is the absurdity of "the Turks will eat us if there are no Russians". In fact, the Russians and the Turks acted together towards the Armenians, divided and conquered Armenia by mutual agreement. It has been preached for decades that the Russian always came to the rescue at the last moment, otherwise the Armenians could have perished. Of course, all of this seems foolish, unbelievable and childish, but, unfortunately, this is the reality, on which pupils and students were brought up, taught by teachers and professors. The shocking thing is that the same thing is being taught in educational institutions today. This is the source of the national disaster, when the people do not know the real history, do not know themselves, then they become victims of dirty propaganda and various manipulations, as a result of which they lose confidence in their own strength and start relying on the foreigner who oppresses them.

Before the 44-day war, the image of the savior Russian still enjoyed great popularity among Armenians, the majority of the public was sure that Russia is a powerful strategic ally of Armenia and will come to help at any moment. Almost two years have passed since the unleashed war and only the Armenian people as a whole are beginning to perceive the meanness committed by Russia towards Armenia and the Armenian people. The Kremlin regime once again made an attempt to play the method that has been used many times for a century and even before that: the Turk attacks, he comes to the "rescue". Let's also note that similar Russian-Turkish joint operations and the new "rescue" act has become the reason for the reduction of the area of ​​Armenians' residence many times over.

Now, people are seeing all this with their own eyes and are starting to rethink their misconceptions, and the Pole is just helping in this matter, it can be said that it is engaged in enlightenment so that those who are looking for truths and ways out can quickly and correctly take the right direction. Basically, the appearance of the Pole in the given period is an objective historical pattern, because completely new forces are needed for completely new times.

- Despite 32 years of independence, no political party found sympathy and support in the Armenian diaspora, but in the last 3-4 years, and especially after 2021, the national movement seems to find supporters in the Armenian diaspora. How do you explain this phenomenon?

Answer:

- As politically weak and flawed as the Armenian political thought and activity has been during the last 32 years, the part of the Armenian Diaspora has been full of flaws as well. During these years, Armenia, neo-colonized by Russia, did not even take care of its own needs, naturally, the Diaspora, abandoned by Armenia, should also be in a desperate situation. Successive colonial administrations and various oppositions created and operating according to the same logic served only the interests of the Kremlin. That is why the Armenian authorities in the Diaspora have always driven our compatriots from Armenia, from Armenian affairs, moreover, they have not provided any assistance to the emigrants, they have not tried to unite them, instead of encouraging repatriation, they have created unbearable conditions for the growth of emigration. In addition, unfortunately, the traditional parties operating in the Diaspora did not find the strength to transform themselves and put new and modern problems before themselves, they continued to promote only the recognition of the Genocide and the false idea of ​​self-determination of Artsakh imposed by the Kremlin. And when an organized force emerges in this presented gray reality, which brings with it completely new ideas and thoughts to the political arena, then it is natural that it should receive a response in the souls and hearts of people, awaken hopes and encourage itself. I am sure that this trend will only increase.

- The national movement, which is still young, today gives the impression that it is the number one political party that is gaining  popularity, while others seem to be losing political ground, how do you assess that?

Answer:

- First, let me emphasize that the National Democratic Pole is not a party as such, it is a supra-party structure, even most of the members of the Council are non-partisan. On May 15, 2020, the 5-point declaration of the Pole was published, after familiarizing yourself with it, it will become obvious to the reader that its creator cannot pursue party interests. Only if the declaration is implemented will it be possible to have really ideological political parties in Armenia, and until then the anti-state, anti-national and destructive system introduced and controlled by the colonialist will continue to function.

It is obvious to everyone that the world is experiencing a stormy period, tectonic changes are taking place, the intensity of which will increase. It is natural that Armenia cannot stay away from all that, we have already been involved in the vortex. This means that the present built on the past is broken, it is no longer safe to act with old and habitual patterns, and therefore the idealess, artificially formed political units, which are mainly based on personal interest and serve the interests of foreigners, will no longer be left out of the processes. Political forces armed with a completely new worldview and value system are already coming to replace them, the pioneer of which is the National Democratic Pole, whose popularity is growing day by day. This is a historical pattern, it cannot be otherwise, the Republic of Armenia must be reborn, accept the inheritance it deserves and become the successor of the First Republic. In this regard, naturally, I highly value and value the increase of Pole supporters, because the formation of our ranks will lead us to the realization of our national goals.

- How would you explain that the National Movement is the political movement that most attracts Armenians who have returned to their homeland? How do you evaluate it?

Answer:

- Basically, this issue is a continuation of the previous one. I can only express my joy by recording the existence of this fact. Armenia is one body and it does not matter at all which one of us has a geographical location, the wish and goal of all of us is to have a sovereign Republic of Armenia, which will be able to solve all issues, including security. I would like to add that not only repatriates but also our compatriots living in Armenia, including those living in Artsakh, are coming to the Pole.

- What is the relationship of the National Movement with other movements that are also labeled pro-Western?

Answer:

- I would not say that there are pro-Western movements among us, in any case, I am not familiar with them. Of course, there are pro-Western political groups and individuals whose activities cannot be called a movement. Today, we can use the term movement to refer to the Pole, because it is the only one that corresponds to its characteristics in terms of its activity. Here I consider it necessary to mention that the North is guided only by the state and national interest and if today it sees that this interest coincides with the interests of the West, particularly the United States of America, then it will seek to ally with the latter, what kind of reality will benefit the parties, and if if we take into account that Armenians are already facing an existential problem in their homeland, then this issue becomes a priority for us to solve. In one of the previous answers, I referred to the Pole Declaration, we are ready to cooperate with all those political units and individuals who will accept its provisions. We are convinced that the provisions of the declaration must be implemented, without their implementation it will be impossible to create a new quality state. Nevertheless, I would like to mention that there are contacts and elements of cooperation with certain groups and individuals, but they are still fragmentary. As for the word "label" in the question, yes, they often try to label us with the word pro-Western, as if to present it in a negative light. I have already mentioned the reasons for our pro-Westernism, but let's also look at the labelers, who are they? They are the forces representing the fifth column, which have been at the helm of the state for 32 years, attaching us to the rusty Russian cart, and in order to avoid responsibility, they are making every effort in front of us. to impose restrictions. I will disappoint all those forces, we will succeed, because the truth is on our side, we are gathering strength, we will soon become strong and become unstoppable.
