Must leave CSTO, Pashinyan Prefered to deal with Pro-Russian forces rather then national
Prime MInister Pashinayn preferred to deal with the Pro Russian forces rather than Armenian National forces
Kremlins policy in Armenia is divide and conquer, Russian policy opposes Armenian interests
Bedros Manoukian
Mr. Vosgueritchian, regarding the last sad incidents that according to what we heard, where the president of the Armenian National Assembly Mr. Alan Simonian had a confrontation with an Armenian citizen who had returned to Armenia from the diaspora, that citizen called him traitor, and Simonian reacted in such an extreme way, what do you think about this incident
Schanth Vosgueritchian
First of all, the person who cursed him, is an unwise Tashnagtsagan, (Armenian Revolutionary Federation supporter) if you accuse the elected president of the National Assembly of treason, I doubt your intelligence a lit bit, because the president of the National Assembly cannot commit treason, maybe, I say maybe you may accuse the prime minister of treason, but the president of the national Assembly does not have the ability
Second, if you accuse him of treason, you must have the proper proof of your accusations; this is a phenomenon of the unwise mentality of the Diaspora Tashangtagans (ARF- Armenian Revolutionary Federation)
This is another aspect of the fact that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation has for 30 years benefitted in Armenia from the cooperation with both systems of Presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serge Sarkssyan from the system, to reach the parliament and other benefits
As for Mr. Simonian, the fact that he spit on the citizen, this is wrong, this is very wrong and it is an indecent reaction, I condemn this
To conclude, I want to express my deep resentment both towards Alain Simonian and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation
Bedros Manoukian
You have lived in the west, in western democracies, if Mr. Simonian did what he did, would he be allowed to carry on his membership of the parliament?
Schanth Vosgueritchian
Inside Armenian political life, for 30 years, we have witnessed such stories, “I will break your hand” expressions, “tokmakh Mher”…, this is also bad, I do not know about the laws and regulations of the constitution of the Republic of idea regarding this matter
Bedros Manoukian
I am talking about the traditions, according to the moral conditions
Schanth Vosgueritchian
Is there morality in Armenia political life? There is no morality in politics I general, but here it is much worse
Bedros Manoukian
Lately, it seems that the forces that declare themselves as Pro-Russian, like Armenia Alliance, Armenian Revolutionary Federation, I have Honor, the Republican party, they seem to intend to get back to the streets, Do you have anything to comment regarding their policies
Schanth Vosgueritchian
These forces are, softly put, are politically immoral, but the real guilty part responsible for their active presence is in fact Prime Minister Mr. Pashinyan, who preferred that these same forces be his opponents, and no other forces, so that the voters will be unable to decide their direction, get confused and vote for him, voters who simply did not want to see those forces return to power, they voted obliged to the Civil contract
If Pashinyan wanted to face and compete with the Armenian National forces who aim for a sovereign Armenia, he would not have behaved the way he did, he must have apprehended former presidents Kocharyan and Sarkssyan, Kocharian entered and left prison over and over again, like it was a hotel, he should have punished both former presidents and a lot of people, when the implementation of punishment is not implemented in a country, it encourages the continuation of similar paths
I have heard that Kocharian has financed the elections in such an extreme way, and that he, The Armenian Revolutionary Federation have benefited from the financing of this campaign in a beyond boundary fashion, and this financing is what enabled them to enter parliament and form this group of deputies
The people must absolutely never follow these forces, which are completely running Moscow’s policy in Armenia
And Kremlins policy in Armenia is divide and conquer
Sadly the people of Armenia got accustomed to the idea of getting ruled by Russians, they live sunder the Soviet dominance for 70 years, and after that for 25 years under the rules of presidents Levon Der Bedrossoan, Robert Kocharyan and Serge Sarkssyan,
And under this dominance the National ideology and awareness has perished and vanished, that we must establish our sovereign state
If we do not rise from this mentality we are heading towards the abyss
Fortunately, lately I am under the impression that we have started to have a category of people who began to realize that the kremlin policy is opposed to Armenia and Artsakh and their interests, and following Russian policy will lead to catastrophes, and I am sure that in the next elections, these pro Russians will head towards oblivion
Bedros Manoukian
How to you evaluate the policies of Yerevan government, it seems to me that the government is in confusion, does not have a clear plan, and hesitant to leave the Russian camp
Schanth Vosgueritchian
You don’t see a clear government policy, but I do, first of all, we must not halt the relations with Russia in a sudden rapid strike, but open channels of communication with the USA, France, UK, Germany, Europe, China, India,
Our ministry of foreign policy, never had we seen such active visits to a lot of countries, like we see today, it seems that what we insisted for a long time, that the Armenian foreign policy must operate on many directions, is becoming realized today, because we finally understood that nothing good will come from Russian policy
There is one thing that we should understand, if we do not came out of “HABK”,( Collective Security Treaty Organization - CSTO ) the west will not sell us weapons, of course, we are buying weapons from here and there, but it requires time to get trained to use these weapon,
I repeat, we must get out of HABK, (CSTO )otherwise the USA and the west will not provide us with weapons,
I stress and emphasize, we must leave HABK, (CSTO ) there is no doubt in this point, that organization is an enemy of Armenia, and when they were here, the prime minister did well not to sign their paper when they met in Yerevan, but that is not enough
Belarusian president Lukashenka is a puppet of Azerbaijan,
Bedros Manoukian
It seems that the West and the USA are displeased with Turkey under Erdogan, we lately heard a statement of Erdogan where he said he will not meet with USA ambassador to Turkey
And lately it seems that the USA and the west are the effective forces who restrain Azerbaijan and forbid it from attacking Armenia, this is especially obvious regarding the Syunik province
Schanth Vosgueritchian
Of course the western civil delegation that is in the area is playing a very useful role to hinder Azeri appetite, but this is not sufficient, because the Russian so called peacekeeping force is not doing anything useful, they must be replaced by international monitors, and armed monitors, like the Unifil in Lebanese for example, but we must also keep in mind that we are not the most concern in this matter, the west has another target here, which is Iran, Israel, Turkey and Azerbaijan will try to neutralize Iranian nuclear industry from this start point, we must not fall to this trap, ok The west is good, but based in its own interests, therefore we must defend our own interest, I am confident that there will never be a Syunik passage, no matter how much they demand this, there might be another passage from elsewhere, but only under the full control of Armenian forces,
Now Iran is our number one ally, now a large border has been established between Azerbaijan and Iran, and Azeris can strike Iran from that border,
We must not allow Israel to take advantage of this situation to harm our number one ally Iran from this point
Bedros Manoukian
Any Final Words?
Schanth Vosgueritchian
One thing I do not understand is, why haven’t we applied to the United Nations Security Council, to take advantage of the United Nations verdict against Azerbaijan, regarding the Lachin passage
