When Foreign Loving addiction hides behind anti-Ultra Nationalism

Those who try to call me anti-Russian are either ignorant or liars, or both, I am a democratic socialist and socialists do not hatred towards any nation, what I hate is Armenians who are mesmerized by the Russians

Most Russians that are inside the republic of Armenia are extremely polite people who seem kind and friendly, they behave very politely and civil, and they are not the problem

The problem is some Armenians who have this strange desire to appear “Russian” by speaking Russian, insulting others in harsh tone and words spoken in Russian, to “appear tough and strong and ruthless just like the Russians”

Russia addiction has become the most provoking phenomenon since almost 7 years I have been inside the republic

I do not think that that is any expression of negative sentiment against Russians, and those who say so are simply anti national and anti-normal Russian Armenian brotherhood, I love the Russian people but hate addiction towards any nation

In Lebanon it provoked me to see some Lebanese Christians - especially those working in the bank sector speak French with each other to "prove and demonstrate they are very sophisticated, such of such high level and class"

Now the Inhabitants of the Hamra Area, Those who listen to Heavy metal, wanted to prove "they are very cool - special and modern" and now -especially the students of American University of Beirut started to "talk in American accent english"

I said to myself that when I come to Armenia I will be far from this stupidity - the typical Lebanese Show off -their aim to maintain prestige

But how wrong was I

Now you take your little girls to play in front of your house, bad luck, a girl came from Russia, her father is Armenian, and mother Russian, now she pretended she does not speak Armenian, until I discovered that she does speak Armenian, and wanted to make sure she becomes an Armenian speaking person

But that was mission impossible

Now as soon as the other children discovered her presence, my own girls became outsiders, isolated, one kid gets out of the house speaking completely Russian, he is only 8 years old, his neighboring daughter wants to let everybody know that they live 6 months in Russia and 6 in Armenia, now they circled the new girl, in a "russian speaking distinguished circle", told my own girls to go away, because they do not know Russian, my girls keep returning disappointed home, and complain to me that no one is playing with them

We came to Armenia, and I want my own daughters to play with Armenian children, but now we are strangers, because we do not speak Russian
